Seems we lost an Osprey full of Marines in Norway. Not sure of all the details. Here's Fox's version of the story.

In their entire life span I believe 12 people have been killed in them. Most of the accidents are pilot error, not mechanical failure.

Expensive to operate yeah, but they have a pretty decent safety record.

This is 2000-2021. Testing began in the 80’s but it wasn’t introduced into service until 2007. The data below doesn’t show the accidents from testing which there were many or the recent ones

Just curious what the source is for those numbers.
