I took a little time to read the bill, Wow-unbelievable! A permit to purchase ammo! It has been reported that 11 million gun owners live in CA, they didn't vote in the last election. In fact there weren't even 11 million votes cast in the election! I know there are a bunch of weak sisters in CA, but to know the gun owners themselves either do not bother to vote, or vote for commie, gun/ammo grabbing scum, says it all. It is no wonder that CA is loosing jobs, and people that work and pay taxes at a rate that would be considered Alarming in most other states. Thanks for posting this info! I guess for those selling ammo, or ammo components via the net, their business will have to have a change in their model if they plan on continuing sales in Kommiefornia. Some CA gun owners (after smoking crack) claim they are "well organized and vocal"..... The total number of votes cast in the last election says it all...... The only thing they are vocal about is their own self aggrandizement ! However; I'm sure a lot of them are "well organized" (nothing to do with 2nd adm)......enough said there.

I was recently jokingly asked my friend if his company in CA was hiring, he said yes. I said great lower taxes and better gun laws than the state I live in!

Instead of regurgitating what you call "facts" from who knows what source, at least take the time to verify them before writing an opinion supported by inaccurate data. According to the statistical report provided by the House Of Representatives on Presidential and Congressional election data, the number of votes cast by California was 13,038,547. Making the argument of "nobody voted" is rather short sided as so many different issues come into play when people vote. Do the gun laws in CA suck, sure they do; however, many may argue that there are more important issues than guns when it comes to voting on other issues such as health care and education benefits. We know its bad and we do what we can ;however, it is often people who don't even live here that come on the forum to complain.
Again, in terms of elections, CA had approximately 34 percent of the population vote last election(and that is based on whole numbers and does not account for the fact that half the population can't even vote). Just because we have around 11 million gun owners does not mean you would have 11 million voters opposing gun restrictions. If you recall after Sandy Hook, 95 percent of the population (in their designed polls) approved of stricter gun controls. Comparatively, Texas shows that 30 percent of their population voted( again round number based on population not actual voter size). Having 11 million gun owners can only be argued as statistically significant if all of them in the state are trying to accomplish the same thing collectively and in the case of CA, many may not be. I don't want to get too deep into the weeds and make this a political discussion so I will end with its not a simple fact of what the people want over what is being done without the peoples approval. Look at Colorado....

Let us review, the entire House of Representative, and one third of the Senate are up for election every two years. Los Angeles county is seeking to pay $100 to voters. Why? they say voter turnout is so low they need to incentivize people to come out and vote. Seems like this would be a great place to campaign. If you could explain to the gangs how it would be to their benefit. A pro 2A politician has an untapped voter base. I would think the same would go in every large city in Cali.
