The only ammo I could find was some crappy Remington/UMC 150gr but figured it would be fine to turn into reloading brass. Shot the remmy factory crap at 100, 200, and 300 and for the price it isn't too bad. I loaded a few test rounds with 175gr SMK and am very happy with those. Now that I have some more donor brass I'll continue testing the 175's in the next few days.

100 yards:
Center and upper right 3-shot "groups" were by a friend.
Lower left and Lower right is the remington/umc factory ammo.
Upper left was the 175gr SMK with 36gr 3031 (only powder I had on hand).
Left tip of center diamond was the 175gr's with 37.2gr 3031.

200 yards:
The remington factory group was about the same size at 200 as it was at 100.
Will test the 175's here later and not forget the target next time.

Sierra's data seems lower than IMR's. I'll load some more at 37.2 and start working up from there.

Keep it up, starting to look nice. With good load development, skim bedding, and a trigger job the 5R is usually a pretty damn good shooter.

Good to see what others are doing with the Rem 5r - fun rifle! Looking forward to your next report.
