Shooting at the Gilroy Garlic Festival.

Local news is going nuts blowing this into the end of days.

1 is dead.. sorry, Got that.. but the local press is going nuts.. oh wait here is a news flash dated 1993.. 26 years ago.. it has been bad as long as I can remember, but knifes and broken bones don’t count.

GILROY, Calif. —
Mounted police kept a close eye on revelers at the Gilroy Garlic Festival on Sunday after fights and a stabbing forced organizers to close early the night before.
Police sprayed Mace and made at least eight arrests Saturday after 15 fistfights broke out among drunken young men, Gilroy Police Chief Vern Gardner said.
The most serious injury was the stabbing of a 24-year-old man who was airlifted to Valley Medical Center in San Jose. He was in good condition Sunday with a stab wound in his back.
“It was too many (fights) to handle. . . . It really, really got out of hand,” Gardner said.
The annual Garlic Festival draws hundreds of thousands of tourists to the town each summer.

He’s probably referencing the court decision in CA that there’s no discernible difference between a M16 and AR 15. They are one in the same and should be restricted as such. Also there’s no reason to own one and too easy to convert to full auto and they are not in common use. In other words, let the confiscation begin.

Everyone thinks he used some sort of assault rifle yet there’s no information on what was used and of course the eyewitness accounts vary widely. Supposedly some one asked the shooter why he was doing it and he replied he was angry. Sure they did...

I hope somebody, maybe....at least Trump (I don’t count on many politicians to address this point) will have some Fortitude to make a (as usually he does) Blunt statement about California’s laws and the Constitution. Politicians that stand for the Constitution IN THIS ITEM aren’t happening yet.

It definitely should be done sooner rather than later.... have the basic facts regarding the shooter, include those in your statement, acknowledge the full tragedy of the act, then go at their laws restricting concealed carry availability for law abiding People. Do it simple, but do it.
