Another which scope rings thread.

Getting ready to throw an athlon talos 4-16x40mm with a 1” tube on a mk12 mod 1 with a pri top rail. Why? Because it’s whats laying around at the moment. Would prefer Burris xtr rings. I’ve got several and they just plain work. Any idea on what height with butler creek caps on 40mm scope? Would like to go as low as possible.

Oh don’t worry I’ve read that over and over. Thought maybe someone had some experience with the mk12.

Something in the 1.5" height range is pretty standard for mounting a scope on an AR. Warne makes rings in that height as well as many other companies. This is my old AR10 circa 2010 with a 1" scope with Warne AR height rings.
