Anschutz 1517 MP R

I am looking at buying a rimfire for now until I get the funds for my LR rig and have been doing some research, but wanted to know what you guys think of this rifle.

It is not cheap, but I have read reports of it doing 1/4 to 1/2 MOA at 100yds. And if it will do that I would buy one now. Any comments or experience would be helpful.

I have a 1516 in 22 mag. Not a heavy barrel. It holds just under 1 moa with cci speer
tnt's. They chrono'd at 2300, a bit faster than advertized. I am very happy with the
gun and would imagine the 17 hmr is really a shooter. That is a great price too.

I just bought a 1517 w/a 25" barrel and it shoots pretty well. Its a nice gun for the money

just an update..... my annie 17hmr shoots 5 round 3/4" groups all day long at 100yards
