In the short time I have been here I have seen these same questions several times. I have asked a couple of them myself. Maybe if some of you more knowledgeable than I that have been here longer can add to this it can be made a "sticky"??? What do you all think?

AICS Action screws 53.1 in/lb

Loctite Removal
Apply drop of Kroil, let it sit for a few minutes then add a drop of MEK, let it sit a few more, then apply heat directly to the head of the screw/bolt using a soldering iron/gun for 4-5 minutes.

Savage Model 12 (probably works for the 10's also)-

Barrel Nut Torque needs to be reasonably tight, 100 lb-ft is the number generally tossed around. It seems to work for me, I see no reason to change when a factory tube shoots 3/8" groups at 200y.

Threads - 1.060" x 20 TPI

Barrel's threads on factory tubes are ~ 1.050" across the major diameter on mine.

Action screws get 80 lb-in of torque. Maybe that's higher than some, but my action is in a Choate Sniper stock with V blocks and it shoots.

I do not have one of these on hand to measure and I am unable to locate this information online. If someone would enlighten me I will add it to the above list.

All other info added to above list along with a link to US Optics videos for optic related questions.
