Have had good success RR'ing antelope over the years whilst coyote hunting. No different yesterday. I was using this rig--Sav. Super Striker 22-250 with a 3.5-15x NF NP-R1 reticle on top, and while on stand i quickly bracketed an antelope doe in the herd and got 3 MOA back to brisket, lasered at 455. Using 14" as the doe b-b std. measurement i got--14x100/1.05/3=444. I love screwing with this stuff in the field, and am running about 90% success to ~500 yds.--

Re: Antelope Reticle-Rangefinding Fun

I video'ed someone miss a buck antelope in 2011 with a 30-06 on a bipod lasered at 500 yards.

He has never shot his rifle at a target passed 100 yards, and just does hold over.

I keep telling him he should target practice at long range near the town where we hunt, but he would rather visit bars on the way to go hunting.

I practiced and practiced out to 600 yards, but my antelope walked passed me at 60 yards a few minutes after the season opened.
