I think we are a ways from anything like this happening here, at least on a wide spread basis. Maybe in a shitbag city like San Francisco, New Orleans or Chicago. It does look like Germany has come full circle.

The human spirit is resilient, and resiliency is also one of the worst traits, as it allows tyranny to flourish. Too many people throughout history went "oh, just hold on, perhaps tomorrow will be better", even as marauding soldiers and rogue knights from the neighboring kingdom have already entered their village and are burning houses, raping and slaughtering people, and impaling babies on their spears. Time and time again, this has been the pattern of history except in a VERY few cases, such as the morning of the Northfield bank robbery by the James-Younger gang and the townsfolks' response, or the saga of Billy the Kid against the Brady-Dolan syndicate in Lincoln County. In short, in many cases of successful uprisings against tyrannical regimes, the leaders and adherents of the rebel groups are often criminals or ex-criminals, true to heart roughnecks who possessed a certain degree of the "don't give a fuck" spirit which also makes some people extremely undesirable to society when this degree is too high. However, the truth is, what we today consider outlaws and even scum, such as the Latin American narcotics traffickers, may become essential resources and allies in the future fights against tyranny, IF people are to fight, and these folks may very well lead these new revolutions.

So right around :30 when he comes back "The police is here right now" (and you can hear banging sounds lol)
:36 he looks at whoever is off camera "please open the door."
:40 "yeah, Im not sure whats going on."

:55 from the cop "POLICE! I want to see your hands! Get on the ground!"
:56 "Get on the ground on your knees!" repeated a few times

1:12 from other cop "stay on the ground. Whats your name?" then turns and asks the second guy 'whats your name?'
1:20 guy tells him his name Andreas Something. Then one of the cops offscreen asks if he has a knife or anything that will stab him.
1:29 I cant make this out 100% but sounds like hes saying 'computer aus' which means, turn the computer off, and then one of them goes to fuck with it and ends up moving the camera.

3:13 audio seems to have been cut as soon as the cop starts talking.
All of the screaming in the background cant be made out. There are apparently other people in other rooms or on another floor. You can hear an occassional scream of POLICE! though.
I asked my mother to translate too..she said the police were asking him if he lived there and he said something to the effect he spends most of his time there?.. To me it sounded like "if you don't eat your meat, you can't have any pudding"...

This week a 90 year old lost his final appeal to immigration. He lived in knoxville TN. He's been living on a German pension for being in the military. He was a guard at one of the concentration camps. He admitted to the standard crimes but with the standard....I was just doing my job.

Just remember, without a whole bunch of "Just Doing Their Duty" and "Just Following Orders" and "Just Enforcing the Law, if you don't like it tough, change it", types, all the great mass murderers and genocidists in history would have been little more than raving lunatics that everyone made fun of.
The "Following Orders" types deserve the full blame and full punishment as it is them that enable the evil people to do all the horrors we see the governments do.
In my opinion, those that enable evil by carrying out the evil orders when they could just say no, deserve greater punishment than the insane evil folks that give the orders.
