Normally shortening/recrowning a barrel is no big deal, but I was wondering if there would be any concern with shortening an FN SPR barrel which is chrome lined?

Muzzle crowning tool kit from Dave Manson Precision Reamers will do chromed lined barrels without any issues. Here is the video of him demonstrating the crowning process on my NHM-91 based custom AK. There have been a couple threads on this and several of the smiths have seen the barrels start to flake after they were cut
