Any news on the SF-Maten?

So many 308s and so little time and money to get hands on experience.
The SF-Maten is due out "Summer 0f 2017" as per their website but who really knows?
Does anyone have an inside line on Maten's ability to meet their projected release date?
It promises to be a very nice setup.

I sure would like to know if it will be competitive with the likes of the GAP-10, JP, Seekins and other high end factory 308s.

They had my interest when projected MSRP was $2500. Not so much now that it's $3200.
