My wife bought a bunch of fireworks this year and had a blast shooting them off. Now she wants to go bigger and better next year.

Are post July 4th sales worthwhile?

Any sound advice for a newbie?

    I’m thinking $2500 all in.

    You got a good lady.

Commercial stuff is a bit tame, When I was a kid I used to make my own out of pipe and flash powder, but thats called terrorism now.

The ones I like are the mortars. If you take them apart and drop one down a steel pipe they can be pretty accurate I had a really wicked thought...if you ever had some idiot pull a road rage on you, have one ready with the fuse cut to about 3"/3seconds, pull up beside him, motion to roll down the windo,w light it and throw it into his lap. Nuff said.:devilish:

I am trying to maintain my worlds best grandpa status and keep getting bigger every year. Go make friends with the distributor today. The one with the year round building.
I just show up when they call and they load my truck for me. I spend about $1500 and normally just get tired before I run out.
I am very intrigued with the dropping the fireworks from drones option that one of our church's did this year.

I just like the rockets only no sparkly fountains maybe the silver jets but 8oz sky rockets is what I shoot all night.

Talk to management at the store or call around, they might hook you up for a purchase that big if you ask. Mark up on fireworks leaves them plenty of room to make cheddar, as the majority is imported from Chy na

I took out all the basement windows of my parents home, my eyebrows, and a good bit of skin, with flash powder. We used potassium permanganate and aluminum dust. Zinc and sulfur is good for rockets.

    $2500......

Just get 25 $100.00 bills, light them on fire one at a time. The reaction and utter gasping will be much bigger and better than any fireworks.

Either way, you end up burning that $2500.

Get yourself a $2000 gun, $400 of ammo, then buy her $50 of ecstascy and $50 of viagra for you. Everyone will be happier in the end. That ass fucking will be much better than the other.

I watched a show last night where the guy shot off 50,000.00 dollars

Just spend a few hundred each year and hit the sales. You can usually haggle with most shops, they’re like the thrift stores of explosives, lol. I usually grab mostly mortars and reloadable kits with a few of the multi shot boxes mixed in. Buy some fuse by the yard in variable burn speed and you can play around with rigging up your display and timing each series. That way you only have to light it once from a safe distance. Oh and secure those mortar tubes to a plywood base so they don’t kick over and blow yoself up

Heck no - fire is my biggest fear. Earliest memory of my life is sitting on my curb watching neighbors house burn down. I've been freakin out lately that my mag-charger is sparking on my Airbook.
My neighborhood is full of rich people that in that past have tried to out do each other each year. Surprisingly much less fireworks this year.

    Pfft, newbs.

    Make your own.
It's not difficult, components and materials are cheap, and you can control the amount of "bang".
