Any recommendations on what to use for 243 Ackley with 105 Berger now that R23 is gone

I need some recommendations for a replacement powder for my 243 ackley. Bartlien 1/8 barrel. I was using R23 but loaded my last grain this morning. Using 105 Berger hybrid bullets.

It’s been a while since I did any research on this caliber but I would like to be between 3100-3200 fps without pushing the limits.

I’d check out the 6mm Comp Match threads and go from there. I shoot H1000 for barrel life. That Berger book is severely nerfed. 2.710” COAL?

Thank you. I can’t find Reloder anywhere. R23 is a great load in my gun.

I shoot the same bullet in 6mm Lapua. The brass is 6.5mm Lapua, necked down to 6mm. Charge is 38 grains of H4350 and velocity is right at 3,000 fps with BR4 primers. Shoots lights out.

H1000 or magpro works great in my 243 so should work just as good in an AI

Thanks. I have worn out the load data from 6mm br. I have a printed copy in my bench and it shows the signs of dirty fingers going through the pages.

Seems like I will try some h4831sc. I also have some Imr 4831. I think I have some Retumbo and magnum in my stash

I use 4831sc and it works great. I’m shooting a 105 Berger at 3190 out of a 26” barrel. Taken a couple deer and a lot of coyotes with that load.

Shoots lights out so I’ve never even tried anything different in mine.
