Can shoot all day long now. However it does increase the bark ALOT!! I wanted to try a brake, so I went with this. It is very effective, and super easy to put on and take off. You will notice there is a slight gap where the brake meets the barrel (on my gun). For me this is only cosmetic, it works just fine. I didn't want to go through all the hassle of having a brake timed and installed.
Yes, the gun is a shooter. I spent a lot of time working up a couple of loads it really likes using Dan Newberry's OCW method - 150 Gr. Horandy SST's for hunting and 168 Gr. Hornady A-max for banging steel. Either will work well.
These loads were worked up using Hornady match brass, CCI large rifle primers and Varget powder. The reason I went with the above bullets was mainly because I use this for hunting and target shooting for fun, and because those bullets I had and could get during the current component shortage we are all enjoying. I'm sure you could also load up some sweet loads geared more for longer range competition too, if that's your thing.
The Accu-trigger has been no problem at all. I haven't touched it out of the box. It just works. The Accu-stock also has been fine. For a carrying rifle, it has got the job done, although I must admit I'm looking at dropping this into a McRree Chassis. No doubt it will be heavier, but the ergonomics will be better.
I'm not expert shooter by any stretch, but this gun is capable of shooting under an inch @ 100 yds. When it doesn't, it's the nut driving the gun, which I continue to work on. I also referred to this article and applied the principal. It tightened up my groups -

So yeah, I like this gun a lot! In fact, I'm trying to find another one in .223 right now. I have a line on one, if I can get it shipped up to a local store.
