Rifle Scopes Any tips on how or where to get an old faithful scope refinished?

I have an old Springfield scope that I really love, but its ugly. I would like to get it refinished, but internally it seems to be fine. I guess I want advice. What would you do? Is this something one might do themselves? Thanks.
