Would like to hearsome opinions from those of you who own or have experience with the eotech Vudu 5-25. Seems like a great package but I haven't herd much real world opinions on the scope yet. Thanks

Mine is running great. The elevation turret on mine has really indistinct mushy clicks, but besides that it hasn’t given me any problems. My first one came with all kinds of problems out of the box, but their warranty work was fast and they replaced the original scope. Haven’t had a single problem with the replacement. If you’re looking for a short, light high mag scope, in my opinion it is the best for that niche unless you step up to an S&B ultra short, a K318i, or similar options in the above $3000 bracket. I would recommend anyone looking for one to grab one around the $1500-$1600 range, they’re a great deal at that price, it’s a little harder to justify them at $2000, but still a reasonable deal at that price if you specifically need the benefits the Vudu offers and don’t mind paying the trade offs for those unique benefits.

I haven’t noticed any problems with the tracking, but I haven’t really officially tested it. The clicks on mine at least match the reticle, as I can read an offset with the reticle, dial that on the turret, and the bullet matches what I read with the reticle. Return to zero also hasn’t been a problem. I don’t use the illumination, but mine doesn’t have any issues, no bleeding or anything. Couldn’t say what battery consumption is really like. The eye box seems pretty average, it doesn’t require perfection, but not extremely forgiving either. I’d put the Vudu pretty square in the middle between my AMG and my March 3-24x52 for eye box forgiveness (maybe a little closer to the AMG than the March). I’m honestly pretty impressed with the Vudu’s eye box given its design, I was expecting it to be pretty difficult but it isn’t.

How I the resolution at distance or low light? Still clear? I currently own a nightforce atacr and Razor gen2 and think the glass is a wash between the two, but haven't looked more than 70 yards with the Vudu.
