I shot 5 rds of Southwest Ammo 220 gr Smk and got 2963 avg. Looks more like 190 gr MV. Maybe they mixed up the ammo?
They also made a 190 gr round. (I don't see them offering 300 win nowadays)
24" barrel measured by a Magnetospeed.
My load under a 220 gr Lapua Scenar of 74.5 grs of H1000 averaged 2759 fps today, which seems more normal.
Both the 190 and 220 rounds weigh about 510 grs, which tells me they are both loaded with the same bullet.
I'll pull one tomorrow and double check bullet weight.
