Picked up some .338 230gr ELD X for trying out in my 338WM. Of course they didn’t have a manual on the shelf or I would have grabbed one while I was in the big city. Now I’m back home in the Bush and will have to mail order one . Being that the temps are sitting in the -20’s and -30’s this week I was hoping to get some reloading done. I’m eager to try these out. Anyone willing to share some data for that round? Thanks.

Nothing in the manual for 230's, but you can probably get started with the 225gr data.

Okay, thanks. I’ll just go off of the older manual I have and the 225 data especially if they aren’t listing data for the ELD X. Out of curiosity, and before buying another manual, have they changed any of the data for the ELD X in the 30 caliber chambering or are they pretty much just following the old data. I ask because I don’t even see any newer powders on that page. Thanks again for the pic. I appreciate it.

I was actually curious about the 178’s in the 30-06. Are they showing any of the new powders, or just the same old stuff? Just sent off a rifle to Moon yesterday. Either going to be using 185 vld’s or the 178 eld x in it for range shooting. Probably use the 168ttsx in it for hunting as I’ve been told that for what ever reason even a 1-10 won’t stabilize the 175 lrx consistently. Thanks again for the info.
