Thinking about getting a suppressor cover for my TBAC rimfire can. It’s hot and muggy in South Louisiana and mirage is rough with my .17hmr. Think it’ll help?

I've never felt a need for a cover on a bolt action rimfire. Wouldn't hurt anything though......

If mirage is a problem for you then yes, it can help. I haven’t had an issue with 22 cans. Especially not on a bolt action. The only time one of my 22 cans gets hot is when it’s getting shot full auto. But then you’re not worried about shooting accurately.
I've never tried using it on my rimfire can, but I do have one. I really only use it on my bolt gun now. How hot is your can getting?
