Sorry if this has been posted before - I searched, but search function kind of sucks rocks. I just bought a box of the Nosler stuff and it is far superior to other new Winchester brass I have used. It really is ready to prime and load - necks camfered, very consistent, etc. I am loading some up tonight - have not shot anything yet.

Anybody else using this stuff? How does it compare to Lapua? Lapua is slightly cheaper on a per case basis around here.

I have about 1500 pieces of Nosler brass and have had great success with it

With that being said, if Lapua was even remotely close to the same price, let alone cheaper, I would buy Lapua

Around here Nosler is $42/50. Lapua is like $55-60/100. After using the google search posted by BigMahi, I am considering acquiring Lapua as I go.

I have used Lapua in .308 and Nosler in .260. I have found Nosler to be softer and the primer pockets to loosen up more quickly. I will say once Lapua .260 brass is available I will switch to that. The Lapua .308 holds up for many reloads.

I love the Nosler brass in just about any caliber. For 308 Win, I would still have to say Lapua would be the best. But Nosler is almost up there with Lapua. I have not experienced the loose primer pockets with the Nosler brass, like others have mentioned.
