Looking for the tool used to take off/put on the KAC URX 4 rail. Need to use it once to change a barrel and thats it.

If you have one sitting around, I'd be willing to pay for shipping both ways.

Let me know if you do.

    Thanks

PM sent. If the PMAG don't gotta pube stuck in the follower I'll know I've been duped. :cautious:

Your PM didn't show up. I have someone on another site sending one; will let you guys know if somehow that goes south.

I'll be more than happy to send you a pmag with a wad of pubes jamed in between the magazine and the pmag cover though.

Crap, just saw this. I probably have one I could give 'ya, they all come with a wrench, so I should have at least two. If it doesn't work out, let me know, PM me and I can send you a URX4 wrench.

With the URX4 you do know they get torqued down pretty damn tight right? Tighter than ordinary barrel nuts. Wanna say 120-140ft.lbs. but I'd have to look to be certain. Just bringing it up because if you don't have the wrench I'm assuming you don't have the papers either. Hope you have the proper shims. I have several I didn't use if you find you need some to get it torqued properly.

Really hope you have the papers, because it tells which shim to use based on how it indexes hand tight with no shim. In fact, if you need the papers, I can probably scan mine for you if I can find 'em. Just let me know what you need. Shims, papers, wrench.

I like the URX4 but hate that I have to drill, Dremel out or otherwise modify the key slot next to the gas block in order to drive a pin in it. Even some set screw gas blocks can be a pain in the ass with the URX4, depending. KAC gives a shit because they use a proprietary way of installing their gas block that doesn't require screws or pins (wish their way was more popular actually).
