I have a Huber Concepts trigger and I had some problems with it and my chassis. It went in just fine, I just couldn't activate the safety. I ended up taking a chainsaw file and relieving about 1/8" out of the chassis.

It's got enough room now, so everything functions fine. Just wondering if anyone else has had any issues.

I had the same problem with a SSS comp trigger for a Savage LA and XLR chassis, but to be fair I never told Kyle that I was using an aftermarket trigger. I did test the chassis with the factory trigger and it worked fine. Turns out that I just needed to take a small amount of material from the trigger housing. Everything works fine now.

Hi the problem is with the aftermarket triggers not the XLR stocks. we fit XLR stocks with Jewell triggers and they clear but then with a other aftermarket triggers with larger boxes they require a trip to the mill to relieve the inlet the same we would have to do to any other stock on the market that is designed for a factory trigger.

I suppose that makes it more dificult for some people but as a manufacturer you have to draw the line somewhere or else you would end up having to machine a massive hole in the stock to make sure it clears every concivable trigger in existance.

Anyway i am glad you worked it out.

I had a similar situation with mine and a factory trigger. Strangely, the stock was installed on another rifle first and didn't have any issues on that one. I initially thought it was the tip of the bolt stop spring making contact but it was actually the forward tip of the bolt stop. 12 seconds with a Dremel and it was running smooth, a non issue for me.
