What does DEVGRU actually do? I read a bit online sayin it's the navy's equivalent to delta force?

Like to stay an learn more but, uncle first removed, needs 200# of sugar, an 250 Milk jugs, for something he is working on, back of Boggan mtn. Must be lots of things going on up there, heard some guys with guns driving black gov looking cars looking for untaxed bust head, an all the nabors headed up there with their smoke polls 10 min ago. Better go see whats happening, don't want to miss anything important, don't ya know. Grabbing the 5 string just encase someone has a git-tar,....

Rumor has it to get in you have to do 2 operational deployments with a seal team (approx. 6-8 years) then you simply put in for it. those few selected after a long screening test will have to go through 6 months training at dam neck doing everything from running, swimming, shooting, you name it. after successful training and selection, you can be in devgru. once your in if you like it and do a good job you can pretty much stay there your whole career.
Just some stuff I picked up off the internet in like two minutes.
