There's a lot of drama out there surrounding this bipod. The owner is the same guy that ripped a bunch of people off on a Sniper's Hide rifle build several years ago as well, I am not sure if everyone was made whole just that the owner has a lot of work to do to gain any kind of reputation back.
Almost everyone that has one had an early version the legs break on them. I pre-ordered on and had the smae issue with it... the owner blamed the failure on mis use and people had to pay for new ones. There was a semi famous picture of a guy holding one with broken legs floating around the scout hide. They revised their design but wouldn't replace the legs until your's were broken. Eventually mine failed (in a match) and needed to be replaced. It was a huge pain.
On mine I found that the legs were prone to popping off. They are inter-changeable and you pull on a collar to remove... if you rubbed the release against a wall or something, the legs would something pop off in the middle of a stage.
It's not actually any lighter than an atlas even though they have carbon legs. The only redeeming factor was that it looked cool on my XLR Carbon for thoes sweet internet likes.
Bottom Line is that I can't support this, I would look at at Cyke Pod for cool points, Atlas for beating on, and Harris / Magpul if you're on a budget.
