I don't know what Nightforce charges, but I replaced my original NF knobs with custom knobs from Kenton Industries:

They will custom engrave them with whatever parameters you need. They are really nice and cost about $100 each.

Get the 0.1 MIL speed turrets (10 MIL per rev) from NF, scope needs to be sent in. It may be less expensive just to sell your scope and get a new one with the speed MIL turret.
The kenton ones do not change your click value, they just etch a new turret cap blank per your specs. That won't really get you from 0.25MOA to 0.1MIL...

I had a custom turret made to adjust in yardage. I do not even count clicks. I just turn the turret to the lazed distance and hold off for wind.

The quality is excellent. I have them for both of my NF scopes and it's great to be able to dial in very quickly without counting clicks just by looking at the range marks engraved into the knobs. Also, the replacement knobs seem to be as durable as the originals, and are as easy to install/remove as the originals.

The scope will have to go back but it can be done. On the compacts it's about $350 if I remember correctly.
