Just got my 20" 9.5 twist (should be good for heavies right?) #6 contour Howa 1500 in .308. Leaning towards B&C target/comp with adjustable comb, maybe a bravo if they ever come back in stock but more likely the B&C. Anyone running the legacy sports 10 round mags with a .308 or similar cartridge? They are single stack as opposed to double like AICS mags right? The legacy bottom metal and 10 round mag is 69$, the CDI is 200$ without a mag and Ill have to ship the stock to them. Any idea what the mag length is? Probably will rebarrel with a McGowan Howage barrel nut or maybe Criterion in 6.5. Any other options there as far as easy rebarreling to 6.5?
