One of the things I have on my wishlist is a Surefire FA762SS, and wondering if anyone here is running this can on their LMT Gas Piston 223/556 rifle? I know someone running one on their 18" DI generic AR, and it's unbeleavably quiet.

So with that said, I'm wondering if the LMT Gas Piston is reliable with said suppressor, and is there any issue mounting the Surefire muzzle brake or flash hider other then having to have the barrel cut and rethreaded for 5/8" threads?

Works perfect man, just make sure you get he correct brake for the suppressor, and you dont havt to get the barrel cut and threaded to 5/8ths, surefire makes and adapter for the 762SS for your normal 5.56 threads.... I run the 762SS on my LMT MRP in 5.56 (piston)and 300blackout (gas) and I run it on my 300 win mag, as for the MWS I dont know yet but it should work just fine

I don't have a adapter to thread onto a 1/2-28 barrel to work with the FA762SS suppressor right now. I can suggest the FA762K or better yet the SOCOM762-RC (end mount) suppressor and run it on both weapons. It has the same over all length and sound reduction as the FA762SS but I do have the adpters out. Just wanted to throw that out there. Hit me at the office if I can help more.
