    I see that Liberty Optics has the new 4-14x50mm IOR with 10 mil elevation knob and MP-8 reticle.

    What I find particularly interesting also that it is SFP, and weighs only 26 ounces. IMO, that would make it an excellent hunting scope in addition to tactical shooting.

    To anyone who knows;

    1. Any tunneling at low magnification?
    2. Is this supposed to have the latest generation 4 internals?
    3. Is this the standard MP-8 reticle or the SH MP-8?

    Thank you

    The one you are talking about is an updated version of their older 4-14 model. I haven't heard of any problems with the MOA version so that one is probably fine. If you want a SFP scope in that power range it looks good to me.

    They also have a 4-14 FFP that should be available fairly soon, it's closer to the 3-18x50 models in features and size. I think Rhutch on this forum has the first one.

    There is a thread somewhere where Scott from Liberty Optics had a few demos of the 4-14 FFP and sold them. You might shoot out some pm's to those guys if you can find the thread. I have an IOR 3.5-18x50 and it is outstanding.
