Anyone tried H1000 or H110v in 30-06?

RL-22 is backordered like everything else but stuff like H1000 is still available generally. It's a nice slow powder just like RL-22 and I'm starting to wonder if it's got those "magical" properties of good consistency and great velocities with stuff like 190-210grn tips from a 30-06.

Anyone tried them?

Note to the guys who've helped me with the RL-22 so far, but I'm just trying to think of a fall back if/when I run out of it and the backorder that I placed hasn't shown up yet.

Never used H1000 in the '06 but I am fire forming with it in my 338 Lapua Imp. with very good results, low spreads, very accurate and insensitive to variations in temp.

It should work pretty well in the '06 with the heavier bullets.

Thanks. I heard it was decent stuff which is why it popped into my mind. I was told at one point it works in the 22x284, which is on my list to build, hopefully someone has tried it out and can weigh in on it first hand before I go try finding some.

shot h1000 for 15 years in a 7 mag but never for an 06. H110 is a mag pistol
powder.

Pretty sure he made a simple typo; Not H110V but H100V aka Hybrid 100V which is a powder that lies between H4350 and H4831. I'm interested in trying it for .260 rem one of these days.

ETA- It's supposed to be a blend of extruded and ball powder properties. An extruded extra short grain powder.

Thanks, I found a little data on the H1000 and some on H100v, I made a mistake above, I meant H100v. I'll correct that now.

Yep, I screwed the typing pooch on the title.

I'm interested to try it since the other powders I'm considering getting for shooting the upper middleweights (180-190) in a 30-06 is 4831 and 4350.

I have a 6.5-06 that I will be starting soon and I'm hoping to be able to use some of the same powders across the two calibers. I think the 4831 is one of the accepted "gold standard" powders for 140's in a 6.5 bore.
