Rifle Scopes Anyone tried the Leupold VX-R patrol series?

I never knew about this little optic. Just saw it on Glockandrolls signature. Seems like a pretty decent scope for 600$ 30mm tube, matching reticle and turrets, mil/mil which is in my favor. Would go great on my youth model 18" .243.

I have one on a 223 carbine it works well enough. If you use the search function and look for the word "patrol" in the titles of threads in this forum you should find a few posts about it.

Hows the glass compared to the mk4s? It seems like a budget tactical mix of a leupold mk4 and the vx series.
