Anyone tried the Two Box Chrono yet?

I ordered one

We will see...

I Spoke to him on FB and he is citing lower SD numbers based off a single Litz article saying units like the MagnetoSpeed had an SD of 3fps vs his .05fps or so. Acoustically it just reading the crack over the target and there are limitations to placing it plus or minus. Something like being a 1/4" out of alignment can mean a 20fps variation in the readings.

He is an F-Class shooter and honestly talking with him, everything was based on what the "thought' was happening and not any real first-hand testing. It seems a bit strange he had no concept of how the Labradar actually gathered data. Whatever Bryan said in a single unit review was the basis for the claims.

I have used the acoustic Super Chrono and because the mic's were so close to each it was not that great. HIs unit at least has a longer sight radius to help determine the numbers.

The MagnetoSpeed guys posted some really good information that was never addressed as the Two Box guy was talking precision and accuracy in a way that really did not relate to how we shoot. I am not sure I see a difference if the unit reads an SD of 5 vs an SD of 3, the number should be pretty straight forward but he says his is more accurate ?

Waiting for the side by side comparisons with the Labradar and Magnetospeed. Should be easy to gather data with all 3 simultaneously and compare numbers.

Agree that his autotrickler is a phenomenal device.

Seems like we are back to chronos being somewhat of a pain to line up properly to get accurate results and having to set it up down range. Only downside to the magneto is I don't like to have it on during load workup

Looks like all of the pain in the neck problems of the "old" chronographs (calling range cold, lining up stuff, dealing with uneven ground) with the added benefit of picking up your neighbors shots, for some apparent accuracy gain? I must not be ninja enough, but the magnetospeed seems to work great.
