Anyone tried to ‘fix’ the magpul bipod?

I get dumb ideas frequently but was wondering if anyone else might have already gone down this bad decision road before. It’s not that I need to fix the magpul bipod or can’t afford a better bipod. I have better bipods. It’s just that it seems like it could be fixed relatively easily at least for someone with access to the right tools and skills.

But I don’t want to repeat anyone else’s mistakes either.

I’d rather make new mistakes for your entertainment.

You can lock out pan on them, if that's what you mean by "fix".

Bipod preload is like fundamentals 101 and “wobble” in the legs is NOT a bad thing.
