Anyone try TRACE ammo in 223

Hey all,

As title states, have you tried TRACE's 223 ammo? I contacted them to ask if brass was new or once fired and what headstamp they used. It turns out be to new AUSA brass. After a little research, A USA is armscorp brass I believe.

Most of what I read is saying that brass isn't all that good and primer pockets are very inconsistent. Some aren't that deep, leaving the primer sitting high. Some have the flash hole off centered.

Anyone tried the ammo yet?

I can’t speak to the brass, but I can tell you the results are impressive. I tested it thru a factory JP rifle and got sub Moa easily. First shot on the second target was checking zero.
