Anyone use IMR4895 in 7-08

I'm thinking of trying my 7-08 with 162Amax's. I have IMR4895 (use it for my 130/150gr SMK silhouette loads in the 7-08 and in my 308 and 223.

Anyone running this combo and what kind of speeds are you getting?

I don't consider 4895 to be optimal in the 7-08, so I haven't done a lot of experiemting with it... but since I have a lot of it on hand it tends to get used for a lot of stuff, optimal or not.

It is off about 100 fps from 4350 loads.

I can get around 2650fps with 41gr from a 22" bbl. I would consider that to be a max load. The 4895 I have on hand is not cannister grade powder, but with no pressure indicators or flat primers, that seems a reasonable target velocity goal.

Thanks TC. For silhouette I am running 38gr under 150 Nosler BT's for a soft shooting 2600ish load. Hopefully I can go up a gr or two with the 162 Amax's without overheating anything.
