I'm looking to see if anyone thinks if a NF Unimount A497 will give enough offset for a typical AR15 magnified optic with a 3.5" eye relief. I've come across some pictures and it looks like some may be doing it where the optic comes a little past the CH. I'm not sure if I should look for a typical extended mount from Giessele, Badger, Larue, etc.
