anyone used this german surplus .308 ammo?

picked up one of the battle packs, figured I'd try it out. If it's not worth a shit I'm not out a whole hell of a lot of money. Just curious if anyone has tried it or had any experience with it.

I know some guys with .308 SCAR's have had good luck with both the German and British surplus. I have some of the Radway Green surplus and its very consistent clean ammo.

Its not bad ammo, non corrosive, it does have some steel in it so you wont be able to use it in an indoor ranges. Travels around 2790-2815 FPS out of a 20 inch barrel. Also it is Berdan primed.

I have also bought some cheap stuff that was headstamped POF, it turned out to be pretty good and was loaded with Vihtavuori powder which i thought was strange.

That is also a really good price for that German stuff I payed way more for mine but that was during the election buy up period

Tried it in a MWS. Couldn't get better then 6 MOA out of it. However other people have had better luck.

Also watch out, can cause rust fast.
