If you do, you will not be sorry, having used a NF like yours for two comps and having had two of the 6-24x56 Ziesses I can honestly say that there is a gap in the way things look in them,
especially when the lights go out or the weather is shitty as it can be at times.
I loved my Ziesses, the only reason I sold them was to get a PMII and a Hensoldt,
the PMII is great but the "feel" of the glass in the Zeiss is better, to me, not saying that it´s an absolute truth.
I´ll be getting my hensoldt in this week and I will really try and test it out coming week.
As for the Ziess being a good tactical scope, well they are SFP scopes, for me that sorts of excludes them othervise they are all that and some.
