Looking for feedback on the lethality of 195g Berger 7mm EOL on Elk? I am thinking of building a load for my 7LRM and just wondering if I should just stick with the tried an true 180 Berger Hybrids?

Been wondering the same thing. The BC is undeniable but if it doesn’t kill it’s not worth messing with.
I don't have 1st hand experience, but there's several threads on longrangehunting.com discussing the performance of the 195's. Many hunters have had very poor results on elk , mostly due to lack of expansion at all ranges. There's a handful of guys that love them , but most who have used them on game have gone back to the 180's, either Hybrids or ELD-M's .
