Just curious if anyone here is running one of the adcor defense ar's. If so please let me know how they run. I've read about their white lab test of shooting 6,000 rounds without a stoppage, and still shot less then a moa at 100suds after the 6k. It sounds impressive.

    Just digging for info.

they sure look like they have a bit more then novelty built into them.

free floating barrel in an ar.
    side charging handle.
    piston system.
6000 rounds without a stoppage in the white lab, and then shot less them moa on top of it.
    chrome lined barrel from fnh.

i want to hear from someone whos put some rounds down range, not just someone who is jealous about not having one.

I guess it is not as expensive as a gap, les bear, black rain, or others that the cool aid drinkers here are drinking so it isn't worth looking deeper into.

    Think outside the box.

What's your benefit in having the side charging handle on the forearm? It looks to me like it would only impede the mounting of any devices, while not offering any advantages to charging easier in the prone. I'm not sure if I would exactly want a piston operating system unsupported by the rail either. Sounds to me like there would be too much mass being slung with all the stress placed exclusively on the barrel. If they're wanting to free float it for accuracy, why did they still opt for chrome lining?

And GAP doesn't build AR15s, so I hardly find them relevant here.

I looked at them at the shot show. I was impressed with the design, fit and finish. If I was in the market for a piston gun, I would have bought one. I read it did well in the Army's test.

Thanks Capnavair. I've also read that they did well in testing, but like many other companies they kind of faded away for some reason. I just wish there were a few guys on here that have first hand experience with these as well as the standard gi, or compare them to similar piston systems.
