So the heating element went out in the oven. Seems this brand is a bit hard to find. I spent a couple hours looking online and thought I would post it up here to see if anyone knows a source for it.

Miele is one of the oddball, hard to get parts for, manufactures. I would go directly to them for a part. Pending on the age of the unit, the part may very well be no longer made, and you could try to find one on eBay or something. I’ll do some digging, we don’t typically deal with Miele too often.

I saw that too. It’s a risk without knowing the actual P\N, and I’d also want to test ohms and make sure they match.

Might be hard to test ohms when the old one is in 2 pieces.

Call Miele USA.

Ive been keeping my washer/dryer alive for plus twenty years now buying replacement parts.

Most shit I order from them is shipped from New Jersey and arrives in one or two days.

They used to be really great with online tech help but now at most you will get a PDF exploded diagram.

Google youtube vids of your repair...you will probably find a dozen tutorials.

I’ll be calling them this morning.

seems like a couple of screws and a parts swap. Hopefully it’s that simple. Not a whole ton that could be involved with it.
