As the question states, looking for the best freebore for a Barnes 127gr LRX for a hunting gun (6.5CM). Having a barrel cut by my smith and I didn’t have an answer when he asked this question.
If additional information is required please let me know and thank you very much in advance for any assistance you guys can offer.

I shoot the 127LRX in a standard 6.5 CM spec reamer, I don't know the exact specs but know it's the SAMMI spec..... these bullets like to jump and I load them .050" off the lands and get subminute accuracy out to 600 yds...... they don't have the BC of many other options but for medium distances they preform great in deer sized game, my kids and I have taken a couple of bucks very successfully over the past couple years.

I just checked some of my reloads and Im loading the 127LRX at 2.790" (with + .050" jump) so I'm thinking you could throat it a bit deeper and have plenty of room in a AICS magazine but it would limit your ability to get other style bullets near The lands.......
