Gunsmithing AR-10 Barrel contour dimensions

Hi All,

Been lurking here for some time and found some great info, so I decided now was as good a time as any to join up and throw in my 2¢ worth.

Does anyone know where I can find the Barrel contour dimensions for an AR-10?

Also, what is the consensus on the quality of Green Mountain Rifle Barrels?

I'm putting together an AR-10 for my winter project and am trying to save some bucks, but not cut too many corners. I picked up a raw AR-10 forging from 7.62SASS and am close to finishing the machine work and figured I'd start looking for a decent barrel.

Any input would be appreciated......

Do yourself a favor and call Frank Green at Bartlein Barrels. Order one of his AR10 barrels, cut the corners elsewhere.
