For sale is a AR15 Performance 224 Valkyrie 24" Custom Barrel in great condition.
Details:
- Fits a standard AR-15 upper
- 24" 3R 1:7.5" twist
- 5/8-24" threaded muzzle with removable thread cap
- Polished feed ramps
- .750" gas block journal
- Indexed gas block divot (easy gas block alignment)
- Chamber and muzzle are in great condition
- Approximately 400 rounds fired so there is plenty of life left in the barrel
- Cleaned and ready to go
This 24" long barrel with the 3R lands is capable of propelling medium to high weight .224 bullets to velocities that are fast for a Valkyrie. I have shot 88 grain Hornady ELD handloaded bullets at 2700 fps with a 5-shot 0.6" group size (100 yards). My 50 grain Barnes TTSX hand loads can reach 3200+ fps. This is a great barrel but my wife says I am downsizing my collection of calibers so this one has to go.
