Looking at doing a longer(ish) AR build using an FN barrel in 5.56, worth the money, or use something else? Any thoughts?

Give Keystone Accuracy a call. They will make you a tack driver exactly to your specs. Any contour, length, muzzle threads, gas length you want

If this is an accuracy build I'd recommend something like a Krieger (cut rifled). The price difference is not much.

If all you care about is MOA-ish I'm sure the FN will be fine.

I would take a look at Criterion chrome lined.

Best AR barrel I have used. mk262 is 1/2 moa. 23.8-24.2gr of varget pushes everything 69 gr and heavier around 2700 and Sub moa with ease.
