AR 223 Upper and Barrel Help! Please....

Ok so I am sure this has been covered before but I have yet to find the thread...I am in the market for an AR upper with a 16" chrome lined barrel. I live in NJ so I can't have a flash hider and don't think I would need a comp for a 223 CQB rifle but open to any ideas. My question is who makes a great upper with a great barrel? I own a noveske AR10 and love it, and the noveske M243 barrels in 223 seam like the best choice, but i would like to see what other great choices are out there?

I just bought a Daniel Defense in 12.5 inch; so far I am pretty happy with it. What do you want your gun to do? Precision, mid range gun, carbine, close quarters marksmanship, ect?

I am planning to use it as a Carbine / close quarters...I have looked at them the dd uppers look good how dose it shoot?
