AR (308) Gas or Piston? Which builders

I have been reading about the LWRC which is piston and seems to be built well.
I also like what I have been reading about LMT which is gas driven.
The Knight Armament I hear is nice also but maybe not worth what they want for it.
I also read good things about Noveske with them using a lower from LMT or Vltor.
I will be shooting it suppressed all the time.
I would welcome your experiences with these above as well as others.
I have never owned a .308 Ar or a piston driven model.
