AR camo painting

Practice on something else first (like some pieces of cardboard). Work at it to figure out both colors and how to get the pattern you want. Once you're happy with the paint (color and pattern) its time to try it on a rifle. You'll need to figure out which color would be the base color and which one(s) go on next in the right order to get the effect you want. Also, a couple of light coats are better than one heavy coat.

I use rubbing alcohol and lint free cleaning cloths to degrease the outside surfaces of the action/barrel/stock prior to painting. I go over it twice to make sure I don't miss anything.
