ar10 .308 single shot mag follower

I am trying, but without any luck so far.

I desperately need a single shot magpul magazine follower for my Aero Precision AR10 .308 rifle

I shoot single shot 95 % of the time and cannot find a follower anywhere. I tried 4 different ones from the guy that makes them for the ar-15 rifles but his stuff for the Aero Precision
rifles don't fit.

Any suggestions, PLEASE, PLEASE.

Bob Hahin and I went around with Creedmoor Sports with 4 different Bob Sleds. No luck they did not fit. I have built a AR10 .308 Aero Precision rifle and they just jam up the works. Go figure.

What issues are you having with single-loading? The majority of shooting my Aero Precision 308 is in NRA MID RANGE (PRONE) TACTICAL RIFLE (AR) and it's all single-load. I use Magpuls and don't have any problems. It's interesting that your rifle doesn't work with the BobSled. Maybe this issue needs further investigation.

Hi Smoothy; there is much room for investigation on the Bob Sleds and Aero Precision. I think it is a problem since these rifles are not mil spec. They tend to be different in some areas.
Do you place a cartridge on top of the Magpul mag or if use a Bob Sled, which model. I want to check with Aero Precision for their advice.

Do you place a cartridge on top of the Magpul mag?

Yes, towards the back by the bolt. Some people will feed it forward into the chamber with their finger, but I never have.

Just got my Bob Sled (SR/LR308) and it works in my Aero Precision lower.
Have not gone to the range yet. However, it does goes in and ejects with no problem.
