AR10 6xc Barrel

Looking for a place to get a 6xc barrel for the AR10. You wouldn’t think it would be that hard but I can’t find anywhere. This is what I use for my main PRS caliber so I’m trying to match calibers to lower the components I have to have on hand plus it would be a handy back up. Not looting for anything overly expensive

Have you checked with X Caliber Barrels? They dont list the 6XC on their main order page but they do some custom chamberings. Their prices are great and they have a good reputation. May be worth shooting them an email. McGowen Barrels is another that comes to mind that could probably turn you one in 6XC for a decent price.

I have done some checking on X-caliber, as I’m looking to build a 25 Creedmoor, and I have found their reviews to be less than spectacular, as in I eliminated them from my short list.

I ordered an AR10 barrel in 6xc from McGowen last year. Sent them my bolthead to headspace off of, and its perfect. I haven't shot it much, but I have a McGowen on my match bolt gun and its a hammer.

I'll second Keystone, I have one of their barrels and it's a great barrel for the money. So X Caliber barrels, they have issues? I haven't dug into it much, I just know they make custom AR barrels on the cheaper side. Not trying to take the thread off topic, just was interested in what problems you guys have seen? Dont want to pay $300+ for a bad barrel and sure the OP doesn't either. Thanks.
