After switching from an Armalite collapsible stock to a Magpul PRS, I realized that I had mixed up some of the parts with some AR15s. My original rifle length buffer & spring got cannibalized by some other build. Looking at all the buffers & springs before me, there is one rifle buffer that is shorter than the rest, and one spring that is longer than the AR15 carbine springs, but shorter than the rifle springs. Does anyone know how the AR10 rifle length buffer & spring compare in size to AR15 rifle buffer & springs?

Re: AR10 Buffer & Spring Mix Up

I know this isn't what you asked but it is a suggestion on the subject.

Factory springs are no comparison to these flat wire springs. The spring and CWS really tame the vicious cycling of the AR10, made a big improvement on my AR10T. I've used them for several years now with no problems and I plan on getting this for my AR10A2 also as soon as I can. Sorry, just thougt it was something you may want to concider.
